Barclays Additions Account

My wife has à Barclays addions account which she has had since they first started doing them , she was told she had to have this account when she applied for an overdraft and we have not used any of the so called benefits associated with the account.Can she claim the charges for this account back, it started at 6.50 a month but is now around 15 a month and if she can is there a template letter on this site and where does she send it, thanks.
