Recommend Share Trading Service

A few years ago, when I started buying shares, I just went with First Direct's service as they are my bank.
Recently, I've realised that they are a bit rubbish. In particular, the information that I got from them over the Vodofone/Verizon deal was patchy and confusing.
So I've decided that the time is right to move my investments elsewhere. Can anyone recommend a share trading service. I'm currently thinking about Hargreaves Landsdown or perhaps III.
I should point out that this is just about shares. I already have a Stocks and Shares ISA for this year through Nutmeg and I'll probably move all my previous years' S&S ISAs to them too.
Cheers,
Dave...

X-O is a simple, low cost way to buy and sell shares online (£5.95 flat per trade) -

There are no account opening fees, management charges or inactivity fees, you can trade in any quoted UK equity (but not foreign stocks or unit trusts) - What markets can I deal in?
(X-O offer a S&S ISA too - http://www.x-o.co.uk/isa-information.htm)Never let the perfume of the premium overpower the odour of the risk0
