Npower again: how much is my time worth?

in Energy
As a low user with solar panels I recently moved from Npower to Ebico for both fuels. Today the final bills from npower dropped on the mat.
I opened the gas bill (incidentally the first I've had from them in my 8 month occupancy), checked the figures and went online to pay it as I'd like to finish my relationship with the company as soon as possible. It was within a few quid of what I'd roughly calculated from my readings, so no problem there.
Then to the electric bill, which seemed about right and was going to pay this too when I noticed that the reading was "Our estimate". So off to my file, and sure enough the final reading I'd given them was less. They'd picked up the gas read correctly but not the electricity, which was given as part of the same transaction.
So do I now spend time and energy phoning for the sake of £8 something? I probably will, as there have been so many stories of them subsequently billing _after_ a final bill, but it really shouldn't be necessary. Why can one part of the organisation manage a simple operation and the other part can't?
Rant over... thanks.:D

Hello silverwhistle,
Thank you for your post.
I can certainly look at getting the reading amended for you, however if your reading is within 250 units of the estimate then we will be unable to re-agree this as the reading is within tolerance.
If you'd like me to take a look please send your details to the email address on my profile page.
Thanks
