    I think a large number of people have some signs of mild Aspergers.

    It's all about degrees and how it effects everyday life really. If you aren't very popular or speak your mind what is a diagnosis going to change? I suppose you can tell everyone you have it but they will probably still be upset if you are too frank with them.

    And let's face it what's normal?!

    If it affects you getting work, education and you need help then yes I can see a diagnosis will be really helpful.

    Why would you tell everyone you have something when you've not been diagnosed with it? Someone did this and claimed he's Autistic because he's good at maths, or something equally ridiculous.

    Even after my diagnosis, I had clueless people tell me I can't possibly have Autism. It's a spectrum.

    I meant if you had a diagnosis you could tell them. Not if you didn't. :) but would it make any difference whether you told them or not as you point out?

    I agree that was my point because it is a spectrum.
