Chucked away two mascaras and two cover ups. The cover ups had split (ugh) and I actually need to buy more, one stash done! One of the mascaras was too thin and made my eyes itch and the other was all gloopy. I even tried using each of the wands in the other tubes but no, gone. I now also need mascara. This using up thing is finally working
*glances and soap stash and body lotion stash* Um...Cookie, I think you're tame. :heart2:

After a rainy day yesterday we have a sunny, but very blustery one today.
IN - Revitalash and a highlighter crayon
GA 2 Revitalash highlighter crayons - they get no love in the reviews so off to the CS they go.
UU 1 travel size soap, starting Porridge soap now.
7ml EL Advanced Night Repair (old formula), I loved this and have just a tiny bit in another bottle left, need to obtain a sample of the new formula at some stage perhaps.
Just painted nails with OPI Sanderella, a very old one pre 3 free. Toes Barry M Gel finish Plum. The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -
Gonna have a have a nosey at that LE offer. x
I will have another IN to report soon as I ordered a C&P to take advantage of the offer. I use this as my night time cleanser and at the moment only have 2 x 30mls sized tubes in my stash. One of these is in use and the other I am saving for my hols so I would have had to order another one soon in any case. Anyone know if they are still giving away a free 30ml with every order?UU 1 travel size soap, starting Porridge soap now.

Have you tried Porridge before maddiemay? I am now converted to using this rather than buying body scrubs. It really leaves my skin really soft. Can be a little messy though. Have to rinse the bath out every time we've used it.
Not heard of Sanderella. What's your oldest OPI that you own? The first one I bought was Grand Canyon Sunset which is one of the Classic colours. I do own some that are now discontinued.
Have recently converted our lovely new receptionist to OPI as she was forever painting her nails and then picking at the lacquer as it chipped easily.
I repainted mine last night with Leighton Denny I Love Juicy but have not done a great job.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Have had a PYND I've not done my nails In ages despite loads of recent(ish) nail polish purchases. I've done them in models own hyper gel: blue glint with opi rapidry topcoat.
I was looking at polishes in town earlier (walked out of boots with only my lunch) and couldn't remember which ones I actually had. I want Barry m gelly shine in blackberry but couldn't remember if I had it already or not (I don't have). I also really want to try one of the polish drying sprays. Any recommendations? No more unnecessary toiletries Feb 2014 INS: 24 UU: 13. Mar 2014. INS: lost count, naughty step for me! UU: 80 -

The wonderful web informs me that Sanderella is from 2003 'Summer for Shore' collection. This is about the time I started buying polish that was not "just from chemist shop", this one and a few others was given to me about 5 years ago by lovely partner of my b-i-l, for a while she was area sales person for OPI (where is the jealous as hell smiley).
Other older ones are Chapel of Love 2003?, Los Angles Latte 1997 Route 66 collection, RedY for anything 2003, 3 Plums I win 2003, Outback Aphrodisiac 2001, Chick Flick Cherry 1999.
I would add that these are all in perfect condition, not split, no thinners needed, some have only been used once or twice, but I always clean the bottle necks after every use, it stops air from entering the bottle:DThe best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. I have the Leighton Denny one which I find pretty good, but for me the HG's of HG are Seche Vite (can shrink back from tips a little and be noticeable on dark colours), Poshe or Nails Inc Caviar Top Coat, (all paint on) I search around for good deals and readily confess to stockpiling any/all of these when I find a bargain:j I think ValM prefers one of the Essie ones.
I have a little spiral bound notebook where I list by make and then cross reference to colour, with a little swatch of the colour, which I used to keep in my handbag:o:o:o, now I live in the sticks it is about 2 years out of date, but when I have finished my spread sheets, I think I will go back and update it, great for comparing colours to avoid too many duplications/near dupes:eek:The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. No IN's to report so far.
Quite a few UU's.
1.15ml tube elemis pcmc- WNBA, currently selling too full size pots on ebay. Lovely texture but can't justify the price.
2.Alberto Balsam shampoo- WBA, cheap and does the job well.
3. Avon hair dye- 1st time I've used this, was a bit of a faff with a pre-dye treatment you had to put on but has covered really well. Was on at 2 for £6 so will buy again.
4. Radox shower gel- WBA, always on offer somewhere, smells nice and does the job.
5. Sachet of l'occiatane immortal cream- WNBA, extortionate price for a tub and didnt smell very nice to be honest.
6. Joules bath bomb- made the water a lovelt shade of purple but thats about it.
Really enjoying working my way through things this time. Enjoying discovering new items and found loads of hand cream to take into work when I start back after maternity leave.April £5 a day challenge- £15.05/£1500 -
Come to confess my sins, some necessary, some not
1) Dove silk glow body wash- necessary, none left, been using a facewash as shower gel for days :P this was cheapest in the little boots I was in for a bigger bottle so worth a try.
2) 2x loreal TXT hair texturising sprays- necessary as all my salt/texturising sprays have run out, got 2 because 2 for £4 and almost that price for one!
3)Batiste dry shampoo in blush (the big can)- necessary because mines about to run out and its HG
4)Oral B dual clean electric toothbrush- not really a toiletry but its close :P never had an electric one and fancied one for a while but never liked the price, and these were reduced to £17 from £35.
5)2x nail wraps from paperchase- both super cutedefinitely not necessary but never used before and fancied a go
6) l'oreal false lash flutter mascara my benefit they're real is on its way out and can't afford £19.50 on mascara so thought this one at around £10 was a better compromise, hope it's as good!
got 250 extra boots points with a little voucher i had so gained about £4 to spend on my points cardsaving until I need something now!
1 UU Collection 2000 pressed powder (it's old as they've now changed names)- I really like this so WBA but for the time being will be using a revlon nearly naked pressed powder as I bought it a long time ago anticipating that one running out but then went off powder for a while :P
phew. what a day!Frugal Student!!!0
