I'm exactly the same, having a spot-tastic face makes me utterly miserable too, mainly because I've never fully mastered the art of covering them up. It doesn't seem to matter what I do, they reappear within a couple of hours. It doesn't help that my job is physical and I often get a 'glow' on but even on days at home, I struggle to keep them covered. Irritating little s0ds!

Ugh. Another one sending sympathy for waking up with horrid spots. It can really effect my mood too, as much as I tell myself that is silly. KT - I hope they heal v quickly with the help of your stashed spot cream :)

Thanks ladies. It's driving me mad! As they are right in the corners of my mouth I can't wear lipstick as it would just draw attention to them even more! I sometimes wonder whether it is lipstick that causes these sort of spots in the first place. They are still looking pretty terrible, I am trying to resist the urge to pick at them (sorry if that's TMI :o). Don't think it would be a good idea anyway as they are cystic like ones.

I struggle to cover spots up well too Fizzwhizz. Hope you can resist adding to your stash - good luck, you can do it!

Edited to add - FizzWhizz (or anyone else) have you ever tried vichy dermablend foundation? I just watched a Lisa Eldridge video where she used it to cover up acne. It looks pretty good and is reasonably priced.

clutterfree babywipes are brill for house cleaning jobs like cleaning sticky finger marks off door frames, if you dont want to use them on your face you could repurpose them;)

Thanks, I may well do, although having teenagers there aren't really many sticky finger marks these days. That said, I dread to think what lurks in a teenage boys bedroom...

There's a health food shop that's opened up near my work, and it has an amazing skincare section. Oh lord, I am tempted!

Thank you Beauty Queens, with you on my side I was destined for success! Plus I really C(ouldn't)BA to drive to Sainsbobs in peak traffic so DH will have to make do with pork loin steaks instead :D Purchasing crisis averted!

Spots on the corners of the mouth are agony, big sympathies KT, especially if you have a trifecta. I think the only two more painful areas are inside the nose (only happened once and I'm still traumatised) and top of the list is inside the ears. OWW! Especially if you forget and use a cotton bud. Feeling a bit faint remembering that one _pale_

I looked at Dermablend ages ago in Boots, but they only had one tester which was in medium (if memory serves) and it seemed far too dark, I'm super pale and was concerned that the light wouldn't be light enough. If you try it, please let me know how you get on!

Clutterfree, that made me  and :rotfl: in equal measure. We have a 16yo boy, 2 15yo girls (they're fun, I can tell ya :p), and two more boys at 12yo and 9yo, and my doorframes are still festooned with sticky marks. I was gonna say there may be light at the end of the sticky tunnel but after what you've said about your sons, I could be wrong :D

    It's quiet on here today.

    I have a GA -

54 - Wilkinson's eye make up remover - WNBA, completely useless. Did not remove my mascara at all, just smeared it around my face. Only used once. I am going to donate to a charity shop as it may just not be great at removing 'heavier' mascaras (I wear Benefit They're Real which is notoriously difficult to remove!)

I wear 'They're Real' and use superdrug B micelar water as a remover. It's pretty awesome!;)
    Cookie, I think you're tame. :heart2:

Woohoo! A full size UU from my PP list

Balance Me Balancing Face Moisturiser (50ml) - WBA (on offer, if poss) as it's a good, reliable basic moisturiser useful for when my skin is in a grump :rotfl:. Mattifies well, smells lovely and sinks in quickly.

Quite sad this has gone but happy to have a UU :o

I'm in the hormonal spot gang today as well. I also have 3 (yes 3!!) ulcers all in a neat little line inside my bottom lip. They are uber painful so been feeling a bit sorry for myself, I'm struggling to eat anything crunchy :(
    Hugs to all

Will have to look out for that one. I'm currently using the Garnier micellar water and really like it.

FizzWhizz I'm fairly pale too and wondered if the lightest shade of the vichy dermablend would be too dark for me. Will have a look next time I'm in a shop with a tester.

Poor you Girlybags that sounds really painful.

I have 1 IN (ordered in April so doesn't count, I am currently on a spending ban :o)

105 - The Balm How 'Bout Them Apples palette. Bought this with a 25% off code so was just under £20. Looks nice :)
