Ripped off by Lloyds - what to do next?

I recently applied for the Lloyds 0% balance transfer 1.5% fee card using the link on the MSE site. I chose the Lloyds card because I didn't need the longest possible interest free period (I'm planning to fully repay in 6-12 months) but I did want the lowest fee.

The application progressed online without a hitch. I did the balance transfer by phone and was told there would be a 3% fee! I challenged this and mentioned the link from MSE and was quickly reassured that I would be refunded the 1.5% difference on my next statement.

I've just received said statement and I've clearly been lied to, and ripped off. They've charged me 3% on the balance, with no refund whatsoever.

What do I do next?

Do you have to work hard to be so unpleasant or does it just come naturally after years of bitterness and envy?

Read the title of your own thread. Has more to do with people endlessly complaining and whinging about others. Yet have failed to read the paperwork sent to them properly.

Accepting responsibility for ones owns actions is better than deflecting ones :o.

My paperwork stated the refund would show on my next statement or the one after - depending on statement dates etc.
