Glass in my my coleslaw

HI, Recently whilst munching my Aldi's creamy coleslaw there was a rather loud crunch, thinking i'd lost a filling i immediately spat the mouthful out only to discover a diced shaped piece of glass(identically shaped to the cabbage etc). I took several photographs of this and emailed Aldi who said i was to take it to the store where i brought it, I did this, they even kept my tuperware tub with the glass in it to send it off in, I have just received a £10 gesture of goodwill off my shopping, is it worth my taking this any further? The product is still in store and £10 for glass seems a bit pathetic!! Any suggestions grateful..ty:)

What do you expect, what harm did you suffer? I would be more concerned about their explanation as to how it got there.0

What were you looking for? £1000, £2000 or more?
My suggestion? Ask them for your Tupperware back and by something nice with the £10This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Reply telling them you want a full explanation as to how this happened and how they will prevent it happening in the future. Explain their blas! response does not fill you with confidence, that they sill have your Tupperware box you want back an their £10 offer was derisory and a £20 gesture of goodwill and an explanation would have satisfied you that this is an isolated incident.
£10 may have been acceptable if they offer a frank and thorough apology. But they haven't. £20 will certainly sweeten the deal and pay a week ish shopping.
Now what coleslaw is it because I want a voucher too:)0
