Greenmetropolis

Hi all. Is this site good for selling or do you wait ages for the books to sell?

Hope I have not repeated a boring question. I did search first for a similar thread.

Thanks

I found that I waited for ages for books to sell. In 2 years I sold only 6 books! I also didn't like the fact that I could not upload my own photos to show the condition of the books. Recently I took off all my books from there. I find that I sell more on ebay.

I joined Green Met in 2008.

At first, I did well. As I read a lot, I had a constant stream of new books to list, and people wanted to buy them.

But, in 2011 I bought a Kindle. So I didn't have new books to list, and many other people also have ereaders, so the demand isn't there any more.

I've got about 150 books listed at present. There are all housed in a bookcase, so they aren't taking up too much space. I'm happy to wait until I get a sale

    But it is VERY slow.

I managed to sell 20 last year, but so far this year I've sold just two.

If you need to get rid of books quickly, Greenmet is not the place
