Hold up on purchase due to conservatory

You can get an indemnity that passes on to all future buyers rather than just you. Then when you come to sell you might just have to pay a small top up fee rather than buy a whole new policy. Or, as others have said, you may have put doors on by then and not need it0

When we put a conservatory on our previous house we did it under pemitted development. The council said we didn't need planning permission providing we retained the patio doors and didn't heat it from the central heating system.
Our purchasers have just put it up for sale having removed the doors and completely remodelled the downstairs including putting in a set of patio doors where there was a window and bricking up a doorway. None of this has been done with planning permission. I pity any buyer getting involved with that one.Make £2026 in 2026
