    A company would simply use the same free-of-charge complaint process detailed at the link below;

    http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/ppi-credit-card-insurance

    The company would then charge you around 30% of any redress awarded (plus VAT).

    The problem I have is that I have no documentation. I had a loan and a credit card with egg. I wrote to them a few years back and they said it had been too long (or something similar) but looking into it again, I feel I was told the wrong thing.
    Any advice on where to start with all this would be really appreciated.

    I recently got my PPI compensation from Egg and my loan was taken out it 2002 and I didn't have any documentation or loan account numbers etc.

    I used a company, but now I wish I hadn't as they didn't do anything I couldn't have done and now I have to pay out 30%!!!!!!!!

    Egg complaints are now dealt with by a company called Canada Square Operations, they will send you a form out and let you know if you're eligible.
