The employers are being checked by HMRC. They are obviously taking people on as self employed when they should be employed. They are covering themselves because they should be paying employers NI.
It's all a scam by many employers trying it on at the cot of the people working for them.0 -
If you're being paid by an Umbrella company then it's your responsibility to pay the employer's NI contributions. Sucks, I know.
You should also be aware of the expenses you can claim to minimise your tax liability.0 -
Well this has just started and at the rate the take home pay has gone down because off this lots off the lads will drop out off doing this and i will be one off them.im getting phone calls from other lads every day now thats also why im trying to find out.0
