Car parking ticket fine

I received a car parking ticket last Christmas when I was shopping and forgot about getting a ticket to stick on the car window. I ignored this but a letter came and I was asked to pay £70. I ignored again as it was in an ASDA car park and I thought that was what you did. The ASDA store was in Bangor Co Down. I now have a debt collectors letter asking to pay £120, what should I do.

Ignore in NI and Scotland (but not in England or Wales).
PPCs can only pursue the driver in NI/Scotland, and if they don't know who it is, they can't.
The Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 only applies in E/W, so there is no Registered Keeper liability outside these two countries. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. You should ignore like 1000's of us have already done with impunity. Next you will get the reduced offer, and then the further reduced offer in their last desperate attempt to convice you to hand your money over to them.
Here is the UKPC letter chain, similar to Smart with the DR+ and Zenith Collections.

Try reading the thread you've hijacked! Your post will be split from this thread by a forum guide. When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.
