printing photos help

I'm gonna sound like a right thicko now, but hoping someone knows. I had some photos printed online, but the website only holds onto them for a year and then deletes them. I don't have the digitals as they were on the hard drive of our old laptop that melted. I don't have any physical copies of the photos but i have got the digital "negative" sheet with them all on. Can you just take this to Boots or somewhere and get them printed out? Never had to do it before x

What do you mean by negative sheet if you mean a sheet with thumbnails printed on it then the ans is no. Was it the hard drive that melted or another part of laptop as if you still have laptop and hard drive is not damaged you should be able to get photos of that. You could check with original printer to see if they have deleted originals.

thanks ukcarper. the best way I can describe it, is that it is a photo sized like index sheet showing all the photos that were printed. I can find that but no copies of the photos themselves. Our laptop mother board totally melted in a lightning strike, the insurance company sent us the hard drive back but we cant get anything from it. therefore, the only copies of these pics I have is on this index sheet thing. Sorry for being so thick!

If that sheet is just small images of the photos that were printed then I'm afraid you will not be able to get full sized prints from them. How did you try to get photos off hard disc.

Glad you have managed to get them back. Now might be a good time to back any photos that you want to keep.
