over the eater weekend i took a trip to brussels from london , the coach over was good no problems departed and arrived on time
on the trip back the coach was scheduled for 15:30 so i arrived about 40mins early
15:30 came no coach
16:30 came no coach so i rang customer serives to be told they were aware of the problem and the coach was on its way should be there by 17:00 , that came and went , 18:00 no coach , someone else waiting rang CS and was told the coach was in Antwerp and would be 30mins
18:50 the coach arrives , no apologies from the driver or anything
i got back to england and time i got home i emailed megabus telling them this , within an hour i had a refund for that part of the journey
it does state in the T&C that no refunds are giving if the coach is late and they did provide a coach
i didnt actually ask for a refund just wanted to complain
so a refund was a pleasent surprise even though the actual price of the return journey was only £14

It's this bit that would have annoyed me most.
We have a limited stop coach service from our town to a major city and even if they are 5 minutes late, the driver apologises (obviously company policy).
Once they used a bus that wasn't the 'proper' coach (still pretty comfortable though & with seat belts) and the driver issued vouchers for a half-price ticket valid for the next 3 months.
Good of megabus to refund you.0 -
Did the driver actually know he was late? Or a mixup with the times you were given.
A mate worked for a small firm that ran a few minibuses, The gaffer would overlap jobs. Or say the next job is 10 miles away you can do that in 10 minutes.
