court advice

I hope some of you will be able to give us some advice.
my partner has been having on going issues for over a year with his ex wife and her new husband about her husband having parental responsibility for my partners 2 children with his ex wife. my partner along with ex wife has PR.

my partner has continually refused to sign forms for her new husband to have PR for a number of reasons. as we don't feel its necessary and that its really about his ex wife getting back at him because he left her.
it finally went to court last month where they applied for a court order for him to gain PR. the reason they gave on the forms was so her husband would be better able to ensure the safety and well being of the kids in their mothers absence and that he wanted recognition legally of the part he plays in their lives.
The magistrate refused the order application for PR as she felt their reasons for applying weren't good enough.

today we have now had court papers again . it says on papers that the court orders that the applicant (the ex wifes husband) and the other respondent his ex wife shall file position statements upon my partner and send 4 copies to the court by a certain time on a particular date.

my question is that this date has passed by a few days and we haven't received anything. what should we do next as my partner has to file a response position statement to the applicant by a particular date which he cant really do till weve had the statements from them.

also on the paper work sent to us by the court my partners name is incorrect. also the new hearing is being held at a different court in the county which we are wondering why this is as the first court hearing was at the main court in the county.

we have heard rumours that they want to move to a different town in the county which would probably come under this other court do you think this is why the court has changed.

sorry for long waffle any advice on the above would be greatly appreciated.
