ValuesdoorsUK - any good..?

Hi guys,

has anyone any experience of this company? We're looking at getting a new composite front door, and new French doors at the back...

Their prices are well within our budget, from about £640 for a composite front door including fitting and all that but as always it's hard to know who you can trust...

They also told me they can supply the French doors with a small non glazed section at the bottom for a cat flap (yay) for about £40 extra!?

Any thoughts before I take the plunge..?

I have used them twice once for a composite front door and again for a glass/ upvc back door..I found them to be excellent..good price and fitted quickly..no hard sell either just heres the price..no deposit pay when fitted and happy..
  • Thanks Smudger! Now all I have to do is work my way through their utterly bewildering selection of styles! I can't cope with these decisions! :)
  • I agree. We used them for a glass/UPVC door to the garden, and found then excellent. I think they are a franchise operation.

No local companies responded when we asked for a quote - one door didn't seem to interest them!

I've found the same, there's one very local family run company, I see their vans driving about every now and then, but when I sent a web enquiry to them, no reply, I called and left a message, no reply, and I went to their shop and there was no closed sign up but no one was there!

Maybe they were closed due to some emergency, but you think they'd respond to the email or voicemail...

    Ah well onwards and upwards!
  • Well so far so good, the fitter came round this evening to measure, and he was lovely (and pretty bloody cute too :o ), explained everything, wasn't at all pushy, set out all the costs, wrote everything down I wanted and double confirmed it all with me...

Best of all, they supply French doors with a cat-flap installed! My life's plan of cat ownership takes another step closer to fruition!

I hope the installation lives up to the fitting.

I also hope the installer doesn't read this forum!
