Musical Cancelled - They are refusing me a refund.

Heya,

In December I brought two tickets for the X Factor musical: I can't sing. As many of you will know, it got cancelled yesterday and it is ending before I am due to see it.

When contacting the company, they are saying I am not on their database! I am sure it is a con some how.

I have the tickets in my hand, with their name plastered all over it but they are saying they sometimes sell their tickets on. I am 99.9% sure I ordered the tickets from them.

I also, had a letter from that company a month ago (so they had all my details) telling me about the show starting half hour earlier.

However, they are saying they have no trace of me! I really need to get the refund back so I can use that money for another gift.

The company is seetickets.com

If anyone can help, that would be brilliant. thank you. (I have the reference for when it come out of my account if that would be useful?)

  • I purchased tickets Friday night for May 3rd from See Tickets. I have received an e mail confirmation but when I log into my account it says I have made no bookings with them. Luckily the show is still on for my date.
I hope you get your refund sorted.

exactly the same happens to me apart from, it says I don't even have an account with them!

Thanks for your reply and I hope you enjoy the show! Just out of curiosity and may be a bit support in my argument against them, when it appears on your statement, would you be able to message me the reference that appears?
  • I just went back onto their website. Still nothing showing under orders for me but I clicked onto Frequently Asked Questions and towards the bottom of the list 'How do I contact See Customer Services' and I was able to input my reference number and post code and my order showed up. May be worth a try.

You need to be 100% certain you purchased your tickets through See tickets. If it was a third party you need to go through them to get a refund.

OP go back through your emails and find where you bought them from and if it was See Tickets there should be a reference number, quote that to them next time you contact them

Perhaps you bought the tickets from the official I Can't Sing website? That's where I bought mine from and I've got 'See Tickets' written on the top of my ticket.
