Can anyone help.
Back in 2000 / 2001 I bought a car through my local Right Car Supermarket, who organised a finance agreement for me to pay for it, and also to consolidate another loan.
I have no details of the agrement only that it was arranged with GE Capital.
I did end up paying the agreement early and have since moved so have no paperwork, but do remember being told I had to take out protection for the agreement.
I have tried contacting GE Capital, and discovered that they are now Santander so have emailed them some 8 weeks ago but as yet they have only responded to confirm recieving my email.
Has anyone else been in this situation, can you give me any contact details of who I should be speaking to?
Thanks

Your complaint is against the dealer, not the lender - because they sold any insurance for your loan.
Since this predates regulation, you would not be able to get the Financial Ombudsman Service to investigate a complaint against the dealer.0 -
