Problems with eBay seller...advice?

I bid for and won an item.

I asked the seller for a price for 2nd class post because the seller had over charged for P&P and because I was away and knew it wouldn't fit in my letterbox.

As I was away I could only get online every couple of days. So 2 days later I saw a stroppily worded message from the seller that she won't do 2nd class post and unless I pay same day she will leave me negative feedback.

I looked at my feedback record and saw she had left very nasty negative comments masked under a positive rating. She had also re-listed my item. She did that on a 1 day only listing and it has already re-sold.

I want my item. Her nastiness has backfired as this time it sold for only 99p plus P&P.

The seller never opened an unpaid item complaint and wouldn't have been able to in such a short time frame. My account is still showing the pay now symbol against the item.

Any advice in these circumstances?

The nasty feedback is unjustified and I want it removed. I want my item too.

You want your item then pay the postage that you agreed to by bidding on the item in the first place.

Firstly there is nothing anyone can do to force the seller to sell.
Secondly you knew what the postage was before you bid. Any negotiations over postage should have happened before you bid not after you won.
You will be able to get the false positive removed unfortuately.

You have tried to change the terms of the contract after offer and acceptance.

You're in the wrong here, and should apologise to the seller, and try to proceed with the sale if you can.

Sounds like the buyer and seller deserve each other here. Neither have handled it well.

OP, how do you know the postage was overcharged.
Also, are you certain that the relisted item was the same one and not another one the seller had?

Not really a problem, you bid and won, you pay. Time for negotiating anything else is passed as soon as you win.

    Try paying for it!

    Its Ebay - not Freecycle.

when you bid on an item and win you agree to pay for the item and you agree to the postage cost

when the auction has ended is not the right time to question postage

you should change the title of your thread to

Problems with eBay Buyer as the problem is of your making
