Best Mainstream Card (UK)

What is the best mainstream card for purchases and cashback?

Isn't getting Initial spending limit increased and APR decreased offer the same benefits as mainstream cards?

    It depends on your definition of best. I'm sure some would say that the American Express Gold is the best mainstream card because of its sign up bonus and some would say one of the BarclayCard Platinum cards is the best because of its long 0% purchase rate.

    OK a 30 month 0% card on balance transfers is no good to me as I don't have much debt on a credit card.
    Any card offering cashback is good to me as most of the time I pay back cards in full.
    This is what I meant - no 2 customers are ever the same.
