Where is best Sunday lunch on Costa Adeje?

So here we are on a sweltering Sunday morning contemplating a roast dinner. We must be mad! But where to go? Lots of places are advertising Sunday lunch but which is the best? We really don't want pre-cooked slices of meat warmed up in gravy. Your urgent suggestions please! Many thanks.

where abouts are you in costa adeje it's a big area?

I'd jump the bus or taxi to los cristianos, make your way down to the beach, with your back to the beach, and burger king on the right, you will see a square on the left, go inside it, and there is the roast house, great carvery and best sunday dinner in a mile.

then you can walk it off on the way back, along the coast.

sorry can't help with adeje I don't stay at this end.

We waited a while then walked to the Sun Inn where we've eaten before and found good. I've been assured that the meats are all cooked fresh in their kitchen so we've placed our order and are now relaxing with a drink. The only drawback is the constant football on the TV.....hey, lunch arrived now and it looks fab! Yay! Thanks again for taking the trouble to respond.

Just dragged full stomach back to the room. We love Puerto Colombia so will look for Kandi bar this evening. Thanks. Hope it's as hot and sunny where you are...

We are going to Adeje for the first time in June for a week so any other recommendations would be most welcome. Sebastians has been suggested already :)

To be honest I print off the Tripadvisor list of best places, then promptly ignore it and go where we fancy. Last year we did go to the number one on the list, Carlos, and really enjoyed it although it's pricey, probably just once in the holiday. And it was really hard to find so allow plenty of time.

When you say Adeje, I take it you mean Costa Adeje as they are two different places. Anyway, Costa Adeje is great, you'll have a wonderful time. So much to see and do, clean, nice beach and harbour, not rowdy. This is our second time and we are planning to come back next year already.

As regards meals, we've had 3 meals now at the Sun Inn and enjoyed them hugely, and such good value for money. It's very close to Sebastian's but cheaper. The only downside is the wall-to-wall football on TV so chose your table carefully, unless you like football of course. I took a photo of my Sunday lunch today and will try and attach it. It was lovely and cost the equivalent of £5!

Do take a trip to Mt Teide national park as it's stunning. We hired a car to go this year but last year did an excellent jeep safari. And tomorrow is Loro Park which sounds amazing, I can't wait. Just one more sleep as the kids say. We are using the hire car and unfortunately will take an hour and a half to get there so it's an early start.

Can't see how to attach photo, what a shame. Anyway, have a great holiday!

Well I was in Los Gigantes over Easter, so my hint, catch the 437 and head west out of Costa Adeje, a much nicer place, any one who wants to argue, check out those views!
And remember the temp rises the further west you go, add 5 degrees from airport to Los Gigantes
Mt Teide national park is stunning, but the cable car has not been running very often, the winds are too strong.

Thanks for the replies. I have been to Mt Teide (twice once 30yrs ago when you had to almost scramble to the top and again 15yrs ish) and have stayed close to Los Gigantes! We will have a hire car so will see some of the island but really just want a totally chilled holiday :)

Oh dear it is Adeje! not Costa Adeje and the Sebastians which has been suggested is actually called Rosas or something like that! It is the owner who is called Sebastian!:rotfl:
