I need to go and sit in the naughty corner and hang my head in shame:(

I decided to do 2 cereal shops... Had a good detailed hand written list (msl doesn't work in my @) set off, little man fell asleep so had to resort to a basket..whilst pushing the pushchair ..not easy when your basket is already full with cereal... Got my s -wheat then had a quick look at my list for fillers . Paid put in car. Went back in looked at my list for my v t shop :mad: I bought my m fillers with my sw:mad::eek:

    What a doughnut!!!:rotfl:

I'm not having a good week, failed chicken in t, failed toms in @. Now probably a failed sw shop...
I think I will stay away from a supermarket for a while:)

Hugs going out to you. I'm normally very good at coping BUT sometimes we all just get a bit frazzled/overwhelmed by it all. You're only human and mistakes happen - just don't beat yourself up, be thankful that no harm occurred and try and forget it.

My mistakes over the last couple of weeks. Spread microwaved instead of put in fridge. Frozen food put in fridge and fridge stuff gone in freezer. I always remind hubby to take his tablets yet have forgotten mine twice in last 2 weeks for 3-4days - only realised because my legs swelled up.

If you get a chance take a break, we all need 'me time'. I'm seriously wondering if contacting social services would help by giving me a few hours away every month or so as I think I seriously need a break from it all. Just don't want to upset hubby & make him think he's a burden. Love hubby to bits but it's been just the 2 of us 24/7 for last 5 years or more, no back up whatsoever. My only 'me time' is time on computer or reading when he's asleep.

Hugs back to you. I think it's tiredness, I'm ok if Ive had enough sleep.
You do sound like you could do with some respite though. Ive got the kids to distract and amuse me and it helps a lot. Ive got my uni work to give me other things to concentrate on.
I'm afraid I don't know an awful lot about what social services might offer? They're certainly a starting point. Any help Ive had has been from ex-service organisations.
I have seen a carers support service advertised in various places here. Maybe there's something similar in your area?

    Hi WIRS

We do all need 'me time' - part of my problem now is that I didn't take my own advice.

Not sure of your circumstances, but if you are caring 24/7 do contact social services and arrange some respite (carer's break) for yourself.
