We buried our last old doggie in the garden. The kids didn't see it, they were too young I thought, but they did know he was there and I think it helped them. They don't mention it much now but they did then. We planted a tree on top of him (so to speak :o)
I guess you'll be the best judge of what to tell them. Just bear in mind, if they're anything like my kids, they will inevitably ask where he's gone!
So sad :( Good luck whatever you decide to tell them.

We put the girls swing on top of the spot our cat was buried and then the trampoline was over it until this year. So for many years they were bouncing on top. :o And they did use to mention it. :o:o

It is personal to everyone but we have always been very open about this bit of life that has to happen, DD1 was there when MIL passed and she was only nearly three, some people thought it was wrong, but it is how our family are, so when it came to the cat it was just natural for us to include them but it is a very difficult decision. :(

It is a very personal thing and everyone has to judge for themselves what's best for their kids. DS2 is so matter of fact about death etc. that no one around here has any choice :o

I hope you've joined the various baby clubs that are around? I'm not clued up on what they all are, but someone here will be and will know how to get the most out of them. I'm sure someone will shout if cheap nappies/wipes/food jars etc come up.
Did spot this one on my trawl of the free sites earlier. Free cuddly cow (woo hoo :D) and there might be freebies/coupons, you never know.

I am indeed FC, even go to SADA with the Bounty vouchers from the midwife because they give you an added couple of things from their own range. On the off chance nobody new this & are/or know people who are expecting definitely go to SADA as they're the only place that do this, isn't anything major but we'd rather have more freebies than not
If only batman was here, he'd soon get you told

How long has it been since we had a BS glitch? :D

Add a LYB card £5.00 there's an offer on for a free perfume oil (£7) with this. BUT it's letting you add multiple free perfume oils with it.

Combine with the 35% off and free gift when you spend £5 (after discounts and doesn't work with just a LYB card) I got this to work with 2 x £2 soaps. The free gift is vitamin E cream (£10). The code for 35% off and free gift is on the homepage.

Shame there no free postage on at the minute but can't have everything.

    I got
    2 x £2 soaps
    1 LYB card £5
    4 x free perfume oils (worth £28)
    1 x free Vit e cream (worth £10)

Total to pay after discount + postage £8.94

Not too shabby for £47 worth :)

Add the LYB card first, refresh the page, the perfume oils will come up as £0. Then add £4 worth of other stuff and the Vit e cream is added. If anyone can improve on this....FAB. Ive fiddled but this is the best I can do

ETA you can also add multiple sprays from the white musk range for £5 with the LYB card if you already have a LYB registered on your account, if this is something you use. Sadly this doesn't trigger the free gift on it's own.

    Thanks for this.
I'm a wee bit ignorant about body shop Got my 1st card instore last month because my Mum wanted something. Now I've ordered another. What do we do with multiple cards?
