    Avs M - womble

We saw a different version of these earlier, now this:
1 x Burton's Jammie Dodgers (140g:( weight reduction on previous pack, not forgotten yet:(:()£0.50£0.49

    For aau1:
    1 x Kellogg's Variety Pack (8x24g)£2.08£1.04
Really expensive price per kg:p, as usual on these offers even when vs M's price. Anyway this from womble from this afternoon so in theory it could have changed by now and mean nothing!!:p

Thanks. But why is that "for me"?

I asked someone how price compared v M a couple of weeks ago but its not aomething i would buy. I just happened to see it on offer when i was in M that's all

That's really expensive for the Variety pack

Just having a wee catch up not been on for a couple of days, can you fathom the Kinder Cereal bars?

    What's to fathom?

Beware the 97p eggs in A's are comparing to M's at £1.39. Doesnt show this on mys tho

Also i was lucky the 15 mixed eggs didnt show up on my APG as they are showing as more expensive in all the other stores on mys. Dunno what possessed me to get them :o But it was ok............phew :)

I know (on both parts) - these eggs are becoming my latest disliked item, just been caught by them on two separate wombles:(. They are, technically, comparing incorrectly as the 97p is on the "Mixed" weight FR ones in A whereas M does not have mixed weight ones and the £1.39 in M is on the M Medium FR eggs. But that makes no odds! There are some 6 FR eggs on 97p in M, but they are styled M's "Farm Fresh" eggs (doesn't seem to make any difference to me, I think they are all the same as the 'ordinary' FR eggs) and the standard M FR eggs are £1.39.

Of course they should be buying the £1.29 6 Medium FR eggs, not the infernal Mixed 97p ones, in A, vs T, as T is £1 therefore with 10% works out cheaper at 90p. (Oh look - according to msm, Sainsbobs now £1 on the 6 Medium FR.)

Or maybe the 12 pack are substantively cheaper...Avs T or Avs S again and no need to go for the A mbuy and overspend like that! Unless and only if the mbuys go wonky.

I refuse to buy Caged Eggs and insist on F/R, the only time I let something trump my money-saving. There are different sizes on some of the 'value-range' eggs in some stores, but msm.co.uk shows from between half the size and up to twice the size - this does not reflect the rules that apply to the APG. The larger pack of Savers ones in M are an 18-pack, so they shouldn't compare as they are outside the +/-10% range (although with it being a manual collection who knows what might happen from time to time)? According to msm though, T's 'Value' ones are 15 and now also, like A, showing at £1.35 (I don't know what T were showing before?) so they should be Avs T. It's about 9p an egg (on the straight £1.35 price) which is better than the 6 pack S/P etc. (although depends on how many you use;)) - M's Savers 6 pack are in the "I'm cheaper"(:j:rotfl::rotfl:) thing and have returned to their 89p price having increased in price and been moved off Avs M very recently before then. Now back on Avs M and continuing on Avs T (if you only need 6) for the 89p-10%.

Isn't it coincidental how M's £1.62 price on their 18 pack works out the same as £1.35 for 15?

Right, folks, with it being a good time - quite and without the hectic nature of the daytime going on - I go and start collating together my M results, from all manner of sources:rotfl:, and be back when I've finished with it all!:D:rotfl::rotfl::eek:

Ahh... there I was, you see, making the assumption that you'd buy such an expensive item!:(:rotfl::rotfl: Just 'curiosity' therefore?:rotfl:

And... there it is... comparing, after it went N/A for me at the precise time I bought them!:rotfl:
Maybe we buy two of these if they are 2 for £1 instore? Or maybe even the White Baguette would work out better, going 75px2, if it is also 2 for £1 in the store?

I've already had the loose garlic on one of mine, and omitted to post it as it's just a single garlic and vs 25p for that?!?:eek::rotfl: But the Spring Onions have already been considered and will be going onto a forthcoming M list.:) Do keep posting, everyone, in advance of any new M list appearing, as you never know, I might not already have it! And the confirmation, even after any such list, is very useful too!

Gor:rotfl:, it'd have been easier to have used my memory than struggling to read my handwriting today (to put together the M list). I must have been doing it very swiftly.

The flaws of the collection already being revealed - some items missed off and can't remember exactly which varieties are still on offer in M, so may have to go to M again today anyway:eek:(:rotfl:) and did I check the Savers frozen cod fillets in the second store like I was supposed to?:think::mad::(:(

Ah well... two items showing as N/A for M on msm going onto the list, for the first time, within the space of one minute (offline at the moment, to be posted once finished;)). :rotfl:Just shows how 'hopeless' msm.co.uk is over M at the moment. Even worse than me - of course the items I can't remember which M have are showing N/A on msm:rotfl::rotfl:, so no help there.

Yet another item going onto M list that's showing M N/A on msm - how many is that? A bit of a Savvy-tempter though - Aero Peppermint 105g bar. 50p in M. Of course, it's showing just a price for T for me signed in on msm and N/A for A, so I've just added it to Tvs M, and then signed out and find only A showing with a price signed out. So...log back in, if it shows only a price for T and N/A everywhere else, it must be an Avs M then...:mad::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    :hello:

To anyone who thinks it was a waste of time going down to M as the information is all on msm, seriously every other item I'm going through is showing as N/A on there - and I'm well into double figures now on items for M that msm shows as N/A. From Mr Freeze freezepops to frozen Pork Steaks, from Magnum 'Infinity' to Del Monte Peach Slices in Light Syrup, from Dan Cake Truffles to Cling Film that is of the exact same size and dimension in T as in M, all showing N/A on msm.co.uk for M, and lots of that (bar the Del Monte which isn't a very favourable comp.) being put onto various lists to appear here. Thank goodness for me!:D (I'm even having trouble, when creating a 'cheapest in M and not available in either A or T' therefore buy in M list, in getting exact products onto there, as they are not showing on msm and thus can't add them into my baskets. Lol:rotfl: - I've having to put the nearest items I can find on there and then try to remember or go back to what the exact items were later.):rotfl::rotfl:
