Yes.
As we've been using msm but found it to be so inadequate in so many respects over M pricing. In fact it has been 'memory man' for a few occasions, but this time I did revert to writing more down (got three pages though rather than the old 23:rotfl:) - because the meat packs, etc., plus everything else was only going to confuse me. But, to be honest with you, I'm happy to get back to the old instore way - ah, the familiarity:D:D:T:j - no, but, I have felt that for the last five months we have been left out of the loop a bit on M prices without my list collections. Having used msm, I've decided - and this is a decision taken after week after week of just loads of missing items and inadequacy - to go back (at least for this time this week:D) to M instore. It's particularly as there are, as shown in the video, a lot of fresh veg. items on offer - and it's the fresh area that msm is missing, together with some of the frozen items - and oh, a significant amount more too.
M Lamb Chops 270g anyone?
Msm do a great job (no, they do:)) but with there being so much missing - and it's not obscure items but loose bananas and lots more showing N/A on msm - if you rely on N/As on msm vs M you are in great risk of returning M at a more expensive price (S/P Minced Beef and Onion tins for example - yes, M do have M Savers version but it's not on msm:(). It may not be msm.co.uk's fault, as may be missing from M's own website online and might have been one reason behind why the rivals have decided to continue instore collecting I don't know?
We've on our fifth month of M online and msm info. for several months but, after that long period, and for good reason, I've decided my instore info. is far more reliable than msm (though I can use that again, to plug gaps in my memory - assuming msm has details on there:rotfl:). I'm so glad, quite frankly, to get back to being 'in touch' with instore details - felt I'd been missing a lot out by msm. I've seen people post about how much better it was when you had my M lists! So there we are, my decision taken, rationally and in consideration of all the evidence, as usual, after a long learning period of discovering, time and again, the current limitations of using msm.co.uk on this area. I think all three sources together, my instore, msm, the 'new cheaper M' website, I've add the info. from all of them together and end up with fewer gaps, plus the definitive, womble info. of course (but that womble info. alone doesn't tell you, beyond what your shoppers happened to buy, what to go for that might be good and might work). So - that's it, I'm off now to begin to work on a big new M list or two!!:j
Can't promise it can continue in further weeks and months, as and when other things in my life get up and running - but I'll try and fit it in when I can (and in future more likely to be reverting to the quicker hour-and-a-half memory thing - lol, some people spend more time than that doing their shopping in a store:rotfl:) or of course if msm is seen dramatically to improve and not have too many N/A for M where their products do exist, then I'll stay here and use msm to compile things more fully!:rotfl:0 -

Thanks to Karlie for suggesting warming the NGs and eating for pud. We had some tonight with some left over sour cream on top. Delicious
Also loving the idea of TM in navy elasticated trousers...0 -

No problem. I'd have thought the answer to your original question would have been 'no' but, as I've said, the answer's a 'yes'.0 -
