Good luck abailey and purpledonkey, I stopped in January this year, have tried previously and failed so what I did this time was go to the chemist for patches, every Monday I would go for more and be able to truthfully say I had not had a cigarette, a bit like doing WW if you know you are going to get weighed in front of people you make more of an effort. It worked for me anyway. And i'm in agreement with Caribbean backwards, you can smell it on people and it truly does stink.

:T that's brilliant majorica, I bet it's nice after a few months and you can get used to being a non-smoker


I'm hoping after a few days I won't keep thinking of cigarettes all day. Even with this inhalator :rotfl:

But I've nearly finished a work day with no fag breaks :j the evening should be easy because I can just go to sleep :rotfl:

I gave up smoking many years ago when I decided to try for a baby. It would have been a darn sight cheaper if I'd carried on smoking and not got pregnant !
