Karlie, I'm looking at opening a co op account am I right in thinking all I have to do is pay in £500 and use the switch service to switch 2 dd??? Can I then change them back as soon as I have the £100 and close account?

You need to pay in £800 and use the switching service.

I'd then keep the account open and switch to another provider giving you an inventive joining fee.

    ;)

hehe I meant £800 no idea where £500 came from!

Is a 'total' of £800 or can it be in bits?

    Any other suggestions?

The comment you're referring to was briefly posted on here last night. Thankfully it was removed very quickly. I'm not surprised that people are offended :(
I'd do exactly the same as you if I was in your position.
