Hello all :) just popping on to say a MASSIVE thank you to everyone that has donated to our just giving page I'm trying to get round to messaging you all individually to say thank you but it's taking a little while :) and thanks for the words of support, it means a lot.

For anyone that doesn't know my mum (Leenie) found out she had ovarian cancer last march, she has since had months of chemo followed by a total abdominal hysterectomy and then more chemo. It's been a horrible year for us all but hopefully things are on the up and mums going to be one of the lucky ones.

We are now both running race for life in May and are trying to raise as much money as we can to help the research into finding a cure for cancer. We also want to help make women aware of ovarian cancer, it's the fifth most common cancer in the uk but we don't think it's mentioned enough. Mum went to the doctors originally with bloating to her stomach and pains to her side, other then that she was fit and healthy. It's important it's caught early as it can quickly spread to other areas, unfortunately mum didn't catch it early enough because she didn't recognise the signs.

I will make sure I post some pictures of us on the race day, me, mum and my 18 month old will be taking part. Any ideas what we can wear would be great, we're going pink but want to do something abit different..... We did think along the lines of grease pink ladies but I'm sure it been done lots of times before, so any ideas please let us know :)

Once again a massive thank you! Sorry for the long post xxxxxx

Big hugs to you and Leenie xx:A

    Hi all :hello:
Finding it impossible to keep up, this week has been manic.
Going away for the weekend tomorrow, just managed to get to M&S bureau de change before it closed at 7. Not very MSE to leave it until the last minute, but it turns out that M&S cardholders get a higher rate, and also the same rate instore as online. I didn't know that, so it might be worth bearing in mind for those of you looking for Euros (it also applies to US Dollars).

Collected a dress I had ordered on C&C from JL, I thought I had found my perfect dress, but turns out it looks hideous on me :rotfl::rotfl:

No Bacardi Oakheart in my little T's :(

Sorry to hear about your cat QoC :(:(:(:(
