I just got invited to the Steak campaign. Potentially the best one yet (for me!).

I'd just like to say thank you to those of you who gave me advice at the weekend when I posted about my other cat

He seemed to be perking up a bit, but this afternoon his breathing took a turn for the worse and I had to make the easy but very difficult decision to take him to the vet to be put to sleep :(

Even though he didn't live with me, I am devastated :(

    :( So sorry QOC. hug4.gif

Maybe old people like me are not that welcome on here. I know that I may not be able to run around the way I used to but I thought that maybe I could have used my great brain to work things out.

Don't take any notice Memoryloss. You have as much right to be here as anyone else. :A

I would be nice if people could give new posters a chance instead of presuming they are all ae's.

Innocent until proved guilty and all that.

Yippee I'm in on the Orchard steaks:)

I didn't do much sharing about the pasta and potatoes. Think I'll have to make more of an effort with this or it might be my last.
Think my current score I'd only a 5:o

I'm sure you have had some adventures. Life seems to go so quickly though. Like endless summer holidays. Those days were twice as fast as school days

    :)

Oh yes I have had great times. My advice to younger people is to try to slow life down because it is gone in a flash. I always tell my grandchildren to smile and say hello to the elderly and infirm because they may not speak to anybody for the whole day. My granddaughter said to me but mum and dad said not to speak to strangers. I said just a quick hello and a smile is enough. I don't of course want them talking to strange people.
