Where do you think the nivea glitch came from? I'll give you a clue it wasn't from anyone who only posts on here. So when you're talking about taking from here you've got it backwards.
And the reason you don't benefit from any of the other glitches I find without help from anyone on here is because of how I was treated on here.
It is easy to say ignore them when you aren't on the receiving end and getting veiled threats.
I used to love this thread and I'm not one for causing for trouble unless I'm poked at. I have been on mse for a very long time and still post regularly elsewhere on here but can't be false and post and share on here any more.
I posted the nivea glitch as I found it. The elite is the only group I'm joined up with, I'm not joined with any other groups which includes Facebook. In fact I don't even have a Facebook account.

I feel sad.
I had such a warm welcome when I stumbled into the Elite a few weeks ago and everyone has been been very kind and helpful to me. I've already benefited from a few glitches and have really enjoyed learning about playing supermarkets at their own game from the experts. It's been such a friendly community with a great mix of banter and help with money saving, so I'm sad to learn that some people have been bullied, threatened and/or excluded.
It seems obvious to me, from the amount of posts which appear to have been deleted before I had a chance to read them, (but have been included in quotes) that something underhand is going on. I have no wish to become embroiled in any disagreements but one thing I can't quite understand is how people can have their real lives, jobs etc threatened on here (where we are all, or can be, anonymous usernames) whereas people feel safer on Facebook where connections to real life are made far more easily. I am beginning to wonder whether I am being far too naive and trusting for my own good. If anyone has any advice regarding staying 'safe' on MSE I would be grateful.
As an aside, (and apologies to the old-timers if this appears to be cheeky coming from a relative new-comer) one thing that has struck me since joining the Elite is the inordinate amount of prestige given to whoever starts a new thread and the tension that surrounds this. It seems that the last few pages of the old thread are all about when the next one will be starting and who will do it; then the first few pages of the new thread are full of thanks to whoever started it (hardly an onerous task unless I am missing something) with a bit of back-biting thrown in from a few people who think someone else should have done so or who like/dislike the name. To be perfectly honest, I find the pages of debate at the end of the old thread and subsequent thanks for starting a new thread tedious (and I've only been here for a few of them so far). I've already learned to skim read the first and last few pages (in case there are money saving nuggets hiding in amongst them or warnings that glitches are no longer working) but the starting of new threads does seem to cause a disproportionate amount of angst and tension for some people.
Would one solution be for everyone to agree that one person will just start all the threads? Redfox maybe, as she obviously locks the old one anyway, or aren't moderators allowed to start threads?
Obviously, I have no idea what has gone on in the past so don't know who has done what to whom but I really hope these problems can be sorted out. Real life is tough enough (and my dh already thinks I am getting too stressed about money saving) for us to be unkind to each other on here.
I wholeheartedly agree. I have often thought to offer to start a new thread ( and this one would have been appropriate as I reach the big 60 tommorow) but I would not have dared to offer. It seems to be only a few on here who get the chance and some people do it more than once. Now off to the beach today to meet up with a load of oh's friends from years ago as they are all meeting to celebrate his ex wife's 60th today. So will catch up later. And welcome Nenen!0 -
