    Just finished PD???

Finished what or whom? ;) Just catching up after crocheting and Game of Thrones. My day off was that exciting. Taking Em to work with me tomorrow so that should be entertaining.

Night all, hope you have lovely Sundays - as Jerry Springer would say "take care of yourself, and each other."

Hi there again! Amazingly, I've now, finally, sorted out my full PM inbox. But please don't all try at once:rotfl:. Right - now a final potter round before I leave for the night!

I'll say goodnight, as just looking at amending earlier posts a little. Tinkerer Savvy again:rotfl:

Right, just importing this (from last thread), and I've added more to it! Did anyone ever risk the Bart Lemongrass?:rotfl:

As for Avs M (post 17, sick of hearing me say), that's now my "final answer"!:D Do let me know if you think of anything else and, if I haven't already done, I'll consider if they meet my high threshold(:rotfl:) for that list!

    Tvs M
Managed to find you an extra £5.94 saving, if they all work, and that through an extra nine different items here now! Of course all subject to £10 cap:rotfl:. I've subtlely changed the Chocolate Pudding to a Caramel one following where T price increases have gone:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.

    Packets & Cereals
Tesco Everyday Value Spaghetti (500g)20p 16p:rotfl: (could have been corrected now, this a little bit old but maybe still good to go? M 23p)
Tesco Everyday Value Corn Flakes (500g)31p 31p

    Dairy & Eggs
Nestle Munch Bunch Wholemilk Fruit Yogurt (4x100g)£1.59 79p (don't need T's mbuy. However, I'd have treated as much safer on Svs T, when T was 79p (as opposed to its price-increase current offer) - and better priced yogurts surely available at some point elsewhere?)
The Lake District Cheese Co. Quark Natural (250g)£1.25 90p (maybe a recent offer in M?, so take care!)

    Frozen
Tesco Everyday Value Garden Peas (900g)£1.00 89p (I've gone for Tvs M on this one due to 'weight issues' between the A S/price and M one. [...]originally post 6546 on prev. thread)
Nestle Fab Ice Lollies Strawberry (8x58ml)£2.49 £1.24:eek: May be a recent price change in M so perhaps not risk just yet!
McDougall's Upper Crust Deep Filled Chicken & Asparagus Pie(680g)£3.00 £1.74
(But McDougall's Upper Crust Deep Filled Steak Pie(650g) is 'buy in M' apparently.)

    Tins, Jars & Cooking
Bart Lemongrass in Sunflower Oil (90g)£1.75 48p:eek::eek::rotfl:
Haywards Red Cabbage (445g)£1.89 £1.00 ( maybe a recent change, take care)

    Drinks
Maxwell House Rich & Full Coffee Granules (200g)£4.68 £2.24 ends today (nice price increase in T, maybe, if it works)

    Bakery
Cadbury Hot Caramel Sponge Puddings (2x110g)£2.00 £1.00

    Ready Meals
2xGinsters Chicken & Mushroom Slice (204g)Any 2 for £2.00 £2.00 bogo'f':rotfl::eek: Though I think very likely it may pick up full prices at M and take money away from you - you'd be safer in my view comparing 2vs A as should be N/A there.

    Meat, Fish & Poultry
Tesco Everyday Value Danish Salami (160g)£1.00 N/A (I very much hope)

    Heath & Beauty
Tesco Everyday Value Nail Clipper48p N/A

    Household & Pets
Tesco Everyday Value Cream Cleaner (500ml)30p 30p:eek:
Tesco Everyday Value Sponge Pan Cleaners (5)40p:eek:(when did that happen?!?) 19p

Plus the Indian and Chinese meals are on 3 for £5 in M. You know better than me which ones to use, if any!:D

:rotfl: quite so and I don't think I can get up to those shenanigans on the A1/M1. Saw a guy do that once on the M4 and he almost crashed his car (no joke).

    I feel sad. :(

I had such a warm welcome when I stumbled into the Elite a few weeks ago and everyone has been been very kind and helpful to me. I've already benefited from a few glitches and have really enjoyed learning about playing supermarkets at their own game from the experts. It's been such a friendly community with a great mix of banter and help with money saving, so I'm sad to learn that some people have been bullied, threatened and/or excluded.

It seems obvious to me, from the amount of posts which appear to have been deleted before I had a chance to read them, (but have been included in quotes) that something underhand is going on. I have no wish to become embroiled in any disagreements but one thing I can't quite understand is how people can have their real lives, jobs etc threatened on here (where we are all, or can be, anonymous usernames) whereas people feel safer on Facebook where connections to real life are made far more easily. I am beginning to wonder whether I am being far too naive and trusting for my own good. If anyone has any advice regarding staying 'safe' on MSE I would be grateful.

As an aside, (and apologies to the old-timers if this appears to be cheeky coming from a relative new-comer) one thing that has struck me since joining the Elite is the inordinate amount of prestige given to whoever starts a new thread and the tension that surrounds this. It seems that the last few pages of the old thread are all about when the next one will be starting and who will do it; then the first few pages of the new thread are full of thanks to whoever started it (hardly an onerous task unless I am missing something) with a bit of back-biting thrown in from a few people who think someone else should have done so or who like/dislike the name. To be perfectly honest, I find the pages of debate at the end of the old thread and subsequent thanks for starting a new thread tedious (and I've only been here for a few of them so far). I've already learned to skim read the first and last few pages (in case there are money saving nuggets hiding in amongst them or warnings that glitches are no longer working) but the starting of new threads does seem to cause a disproportionate amount of angst and tension for some people.

Would one solution be for everyone to agree that one person will just start all the threads? Redfox maybe, as she obviously locks the old one anyway, or aren't moderators allowed to start threads?

Obviously, I have no idea what has gone on in the past so don't know who has done what to whom but I really hope these problems can be sorted out. Real life is tough enough (and my dh already thinks I am getting too stressed about money saving :o) for us to be unkind to each other on here.
