Yes, but had they forgotten to do that previously, and there was a cocktail-related emergency, where cocktails needed to be consumed within the next (say) 10 minutes, there would be no time to freeze new cubes.
In fact, in the rush to get the ice to their glasses from the supermarket, they probably dropped their receipt
Yeah. That's not money-saving though is it? Money-saving is (sometimes/often) about planning, about getting things in order in the right time at the best price, so you don't run out and then pay over the odds!
At last... I got back to money-saving:rotfl:.
Right, folks, long post just now, perhaps more suitable for wrongplanet.net rather than moneysaving site. But nonetheless, whether it's part of the forum or not, we do converse about other things on here and operate as a method of support for people often, who know's what's on-topic or not here? It may be 'bilge' or a very useful post, wasn't intended (I certainly didn't envisage myself writing it beforehand), but sometimes maybe the best things come out unintended!
On that thought, I've leave you for now - goodbye!:):wave:
Except (oh no Savvy, you won't:()
The Ice Cubes just now ... may have been a 'last minute', impulse purchase as I noted they were the last item on the receipt. Or probably not - they just came out that way when they were put on the conveyor.
Then again, I suppose I assume that people's shopping behaviour is wholly rational:rotfl::rotfl:. It clearly isn't - and it's irrational shoppers, in a hurry, that makes the stores their money. They do know how people behave and it's very scientific and psychological. I was trying to find a reason for that ice, when there isn't any!:rotfl:
At least I ended money-saving related:D (sort of).:rotfl::):)

:rotfl:Sharing what?
You know with me it isn't totally clear!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
However, using my intelligence, rather than any intuition(:p:rotfl::D;):rotfl:;)), and due to 'the juxtaposition of your post together with your thanks on my post prior to that, indicating that you had read that post of mine', it seems to me you are referring to my post of 12.58am.
That's the conclusion I've reached anyway - thank god for that:D:rotfl::rotfl:.
Yes - I think you're thanking me for sharing my long post that has the time 12.58am. So - I 'sort of' know what you mean. (And no need to confirm that it is the case. It's obvious and 100% for many people. But me there's always that 1% area of doubt:rotfl::rotfl:)
Nite nite!!:rotfl:(laughing as spelt 'incorrectly'):wave::wave:0 -
