cheekyweegit wrote: »Sorry to quote myself, but do you know you can also get a Young Persons Rail Card (the 16 -25 one) no matter your age when you are a student?
You may need a letter from your uni confirming your student status along with your student card but it can be done.
Think you can also get it for buses too, you can definitely get a student travel pass for the Travel Dundee buses with on-board weekly tickets for £9.00 but you can get longer term ones directly from the Bus Shop in Commercial Street, you need to take in two passport pics to get the longer ones, min 6 weeks max 13 weeks I think. Sorry son not here to ask just now.
Yes I knew about the rail card, I'll look into that. Not sure about the bus, they have uni rider tickts here in Fife, my Son goes to college in Kirkcaldy and we pay so much per month and he can use it in town as well.
My college is ten min walk from house x
Thank you for taking time to offer me help x0 -

Posting this though, from tonight, as some of it is bad news: namely mbuys on Mug Shots and Heinz soups appear. Glad I got in yesterday, boo-ha!:D

Ditto!:D
I ordered 7 x 7 and got 5x6...I rung CS and tried to explain, I don't think maths was his stong point!
he said I hadn't lost out as I had paid the same, he then went to consult his super and then tolsd me he'd call back...
he came back and said there must be a mistake we don't do a 7 pack, only 2, 4, 6!!:p
I told him, you do and I'd got some...amyway he refunded me £2.40, so altho not brill it cost me slightly less than had I got the 7x7 packs...just under 11p a tin...so one cannot grumble!!;)
It always pays to have a grumble.:rotfl:

Was gorgeous here today, mum said Arbroath was foggy so I wondered about Dundee.
I got sunburnt walking the three miles to work.
Oh...... has your daughter got a Young Scot card? Quite a lot of places let you have student discount with this.
