    Afternoon peeps. :)

Just picked my C&C for the beans. Not happy!!

    I order 32 packs of 7 = 224 tins.
When I got there, there were 3 x 7 tins, 6 x 6 tins and 28 separate tins!!!!!!! 85 in total and they still wanted to charge me £25.60!!

Asked them how they worked that out and they couldn't so they said they'd refund me!!

But told me to keep the beans. :D:D:D

    :rotfl:

    Best deal so far!

If you haven't cancelled your Times subscription then....

If you've cancelled then your membership access will probably have been revoked (even though the month isn't up yet) :naughty:

I cancelled successfully over the phone.

They told me I could still use their services up until the 12th May.

FC my asd dd1 has an appt on Thursday. I have lost count at the amount of times I have said that I will
1)take her to school on time like normal
    2) come back at 10am (before playtime) to pick her up
    3) we need to drive to nanny's house and pick her up so she can show me where the hospital is (not our usual one) and look after dd2
    4) I will buy lunch out. Don't know where or what time but she can take a packed lunch if she wishes
    5) we need to drop nanny off on the way back
    6) no point going back to school for an hour.

She isn't even slightly bothered by the appointment only all the uncontrollable factors either side when she should be in school.

Why can't they do weekend appointments!!!

DS2 doesn't have nearly as many appointments as he used to. He's been signed off from a lot of the services he was involved with when he was younger....and thank goodness!
If he's late into any appointment he marches in and gives whoever the appointment is with a lecture on time-keeping and his first question is always 'how long will this last?'

I do try and see the funny side as much as I can, I think it's the best way. But joking aside, things like appointments and other changes to routine must be so stressful I do hope your DDs appointment goes to plan!

Or bless but it does bring a smile to my lips
when he answers you with correct ....
.I would send him into over drive
    as I am always late
and forget most things most days

Thank you for the new thread Locarr.

Just to report the Tesco 3 for £10 unsmoked gammon steaks compared £12 against £12 Sainsburys in a 10am shop this morning.

    :(:( So not very good.

That's the thing - no good if the competitors are showing pricematched on the comps. You need them to be cheaper, and cheaper by enough, even if there's a weight difference and a straight comp. It's not like APG where a more expensive price can contribute something positive to an APG. At least you didn't 'lose out' on them though:rotfl:, like 'should' have been if £10 vs £12. (...But I'd still buy them separately:wall: as not trusting T PP not to change.)

Yes, I have point that may reach cond.spend etc. and already up to £10 PP on other items in your basket.

    See you all later. ;)

Going to venture into town. I doubt I will recognise the place as haven't been there for so long. :rotfl:

Hope Elsie and Rose's mums are doing ok today. :A:A

Guessing everything went ok for FC at the docs if she managed to be on time for her DS. Bless him. :)

I am sooo relieved to still be feeling better, niggly cough but I can put up with that. :D
