Well as usual my day was not without drama. After a nice lunch with dd and oh I returned home for a quiet afternoon. No sooner had I sat down than I had a call from the lifeline to say mum had fallen. Popped up and paramedic was there had got her up and said she was ok. Stayed a while and my sis came with pressies and cake.
Mum called at 6.20 to say carers were late and I was just about to go up
When she called to say they had arrived. So I went
Out in search of beans and my phone went dead. When I got back at 7.30 I found out she had had another fall and my dd had gone to meet the ambulance. She had fallen badly and hit get eye on the fire. My dd had cleaned up the blood and they took mum to hospital. My youngest brother just on his way back from hospital and they are keeping her in for now.
My sister called oldest brother earlier to tell him and he basically spent 20 minutes shouting at her saying we should have not let mum come home from hospital, that she needs a live in carer and we had all better put our hand in our pockets to pay for it. He says she was depressed and lonely and we should remember that our parents gave all their lives for us.
He had better not call me and say that or he will get a mouthful from me.
On another note new boss called to ask could I start on Wednesday instead if tommorow and I said yes of course.
Watching game of thrones with dd and trying to salvage something of the rest of my birthday

I haven't rushed anything but did manage to get a couple of things done that have been niggling me today.

I had been using olbas oil to try and clear my passages, hadn't thought about steam until yesterday.

I was in so much pain last night I would have tried anything. If it hadn't been a sunday would have been at docs. But glad I don't have to take anymore tablets, I bet aau will be too. :rotfl:
