I miss the variety you get in Glasgow bakeries. Or anywhere north of the Tweed. Yumyums are still seen as a novelty here in Surrey. There's no Paris buns. Or coffee buns :(

    Anyhoo

Now will that be Forfar Bridie's or any old kind do :D

In my state of desperation any will do :D:rotfl: but if I could have any bridie it'd be from a shop in Pitlochrie who's name escapes me now, it's been so long since I was there :(
I'm planning a trip to Scotland in June. I'll probably have gained a stone or 2 on my return :rotfl::rotfl:

Check Tesco receipts for any petrol money off points that run out at the end of April.

Aww bless ya :( If I could package some up and send them to you I would!

I noticed that the bakery in my T's had started doing packets of well fired ones! I was buying for OH though not me, otherwise I would have got those

I had a job in a bakery when I was at school and the well fired morning rolls always flew out the door first thing. Imagine that.....actually selling them as 'well fired' Someone's done their homework :D

On a minor note 10 x Pepsi worked just fine

I 'll let you know how 9 went a little later

The good thing is that with this being a morries comp this should last all weekend and maybe even until wednesday

Although they made an emergency fix on the jaffas on the Monday IIRC

I have only ever been to Scotland once

And it was only for the day :eek:

Flew up from Bristol to Glasgow, had meeting with contractor, went to look at bridge construction site (feigned interest re transport, crane positions, civil engineering yawn etc), went into the Glasgow centre for an hour or 2, flew back to BRS

I would like to go back for a proper visit one day :D
