But why has she had to wait until her 30s

In my sisters words...she was scared...scared of hearing...scared if it went wrong..scared of the unknown..and worried it might not work.when you have lived with something for so long it is her normality she nearly had it done a few years ago but changed her mind just before the testing and has now got that step further and feels she is ready..ready to hear her children :)
One cannot change the past, but one can ruin the present by worrying over the future.

You will all have to excuse my quietness today. I'm still not right I'm lurking with the brightness turned down on the screen. :o

It's been sad to read some posts but uplifting to see so much support for the ethos of the Elite. :A

I've had salmonella, it's evil-ler than evil

I eat reheated rice and have never had a problem. My poisoning came from eggs :(

I got mine from eating a kebab funny thing was DS ate half of it and said he wasn't hungry and did I want it so I ate it and did I suffer. Not eaten a kebab from kebab shop since. :(

That was last time I had a week off work poorly and boy was I poorly. :(

I do know what you mean, it is my OH birthday tomorrow...no card and a token glitched pressie.... but Scamps' illness brings the importance of enjoy life to the full to the forefront

    :):):)

Phew glad you knew what I meant i'm rubbish with words :). It's finding a balance and I think that's the joy with this board it helps everyone have a choice by saving money on boring stuff like food and hopefully having a little extra to enjoy on life and have a bit more security. I find it hard to spend money there's lots I want but the fear of not having any scares me we don't have much but we are not missing out on anything. There are a few thing's that bring life back with a bump but Scamps is lucky to have everyone here :)

Nooooo, eggs would never hurt you...they are my friends!

My stomach almost jumped out of my mouth when you told us how many eggs you get through in a day

I've not been able to eat them since :(

People of all ages get cochlear implants, including well into their 80's

I hope all goes well for her :)
