I'm really trying to come out of my comfort zone and actually interact lol, but I would be lost without having a read of all the banter that goes on here :D
I don't have an A's only a crappy on the ball T's so I don't really have much input on the glitches and that is why I don't post.

I'll make a note of caution too about cooked rice. I'll eat most things OOD without a care in the world but I never mess with cooked rice. Never leave it sitting at room temperature for any length of time. Refrigerate ASAP

Your making me jealous :rotfl:we're not doing anything for my 30th this year as we are being "sensible"

I was very lucky to get 4 promotions in the last 3 years at work so money is very good and working hard is paying off so it's our little treat and my way of saying sorry to the wife for not being there enough x

Risky - cold cooked rice grows some sort of mould that is toxic. Advice seems to be to cool quickly, refridgerate immediately and don't keep longer than 24 hours.. Also, DH got full blown salmonella posioning from a cold rice dish off the buffet in Morocco (only thing he had that I didn't). I wouldn't risk it.

That reminded me fondly of the lessons in food hygiene I had at college. We had to remember the main bacteria, and different facts about it. We were always told the phrase 'Be serious about rice' to help remember because it was called something like bacillus cereous. On the days I had that lesson, I ate nothing more than a chocolate bar ;)

I don't remember much about it now, but I never eat rice more than a day later from when it was cooked (and get it into the fridge asap)

My DP proposed to me in Times Square so it is a very special place for me.
I really reccomend going to the Empire State Building at night. The views are breathtaking.
