We were close to broadway, opposite Macys. How long are you going for ?

For 5 days...it's Holiday Inn Express 5th avenue...booked flight and hotel with BA for £2000 for both of us. Trip of a lifetime...I took Kirsty to Venice for her 30th and we were there for one night as I managed to lose all our spending money within 2 hours of us being there...she was devastated. So a friend paid for us to return early :( so fingers crossed this is the one lol

Was hoping it was the micro rices. So works out at 71p each?

Does anyone cook rice in advance. I know FSA says no to reheating but I often eat it cold but cook in the night for the next day but I want to cook a few days in advance. Thoughts?

Risky - cold cooked rice grows some sort of mould that is toxic. Advice seems to be to cool quickly, refridgerate immediately and don't keep longer than 24 hours.. Also, DH got full blown salmonella posioning from a cold rice dish off the buffet in Morocco (only thing he had that I didn't). I wouldn't risk it.

    How awful!!!

My DP proposed to me in Times Square so it is a very special place for me.
I really reccomend going to the Empire State Building at night. The views are breathtaking.
    You'll have an amazing time!

And talking of Tilda I found in B & M coconut and lime Tilda for 69p - hope it tastes nice.

Got some a while back, wasn't too impressed, but noticed the other day they have loads of new flavours of Micro rice for 39p. Mexican, Indian, Spanish, Chinese flavours.
