Help needed please really dont kno what to do my dream prize turning expensive

Options
I won a huge prize last month, wedding venue / honeymoon rings etc was over the moon! The flights to dubai was not included but it stated that on the terms so wasnt too fussed as i allready knew about that but now the wedding venue have now said that i have to book a minimum 5 guest bedrooms at a cost of £225 per room, i cant see any of my guests wanting to pay that amount for 1 night b&b, this was not included on any of the terms of the comp allthough it states standard venue terms apply there is nothing on there web page that states min 5 bedrooms to be booked.
If i am to foot the bill it gonna cost me £900 bedrooms plus £1100 flights to dubai plus all transport costs to take my family n evening food as thats not included in the prize n the venue want quite a bit for tha t, its going to work out more expensive than the cheaper venue i had my eye on locally . What would u guys do with regards to the amount they are wanting for the bedrooms if its not on the comp terms?

Personally I think it is a bit off. What if you all live nearby & do not want to stay over?

I would first get back in touch RGM.

RGM seem to be using this Fb page now: https://www.facebook.com/winningmomentsuk

If that does not work try Edwin Mutton.

    I think it's a bit off too.

Something like that should be clearly written in the terms.

If you are trying for a weekend (Fri, Sat or Sun) in July or August they require 10 rooms are booked, 5 rooms gets a mention on one of the packages.

I have reserved the date for a Friday in October this year so that term shouldnt apply. its stressing me as not long left to get planning n now have to wait to sort all this out before i can send invites etc :(

As far as I can see only the Konfetti package mentions 5 rooms

They have created a package for me as the konfetti one is £11,000 mine was worth £10,000 so doesnt include wine/ evening buffet etc, but i think the min 5 bedroom relates to if you want to take up the offer of 50% off rooms jan/feb?

So do I, also found one other mention of 5 rooms and that doesn't apply either (didn't realise they only have 16 bedrooms)

Children can bring their own cots and / or bedding but there will be a small charge to pay for breakfast the following morning.

Can we stay over the night before our wedding?

You can choose to take up our offer of a free of charge ‘Champagne Supper’ the evening before your wedding for a pre-wedding party. All we ask is that your party takes up a minimum of five bedrooms. Please enquire for further details. This can only be booked three months before the wedding - in case of a function the previous day.
