I'm sure if you were to actually check uSwitch (or whichever comparison site is your preferred choice) you'll be able to find even greater savings by switching to another supplier altogether ... and get some possible cashback too!
Look at the possibility of separate suppliers too, and you will probably be able to save even more :beer:0 -
Is this a new tariff? It's about £30 dearer than my switch to extra energy. If I had known about it a week or two ago I wouldn't have instigated a switch.
edit: just run the figures through uswitch and it is £33 dearer than extra energy. My parents EDF fix runs out at the end of June 2014 and that is over a £100 cheaper.0 -
£140 dearer than my Zog/Extra Energy May15/Sep15 single fuel fixes (although Extra have now dropped the Sep15 V2 in favour of Sep15 V3 at a higher price) but £1 cheaper than the new ExtraEnergy dual fuel.0

It isn't over £100 cheaper than Blue June 2014, what you are seeing is cheaper unit prices based on a saving on the unit price by paying by direct debit over the older unit prices which had a separate 6% discount for direct debit0 -

Both uswitch and energyhelpline say £108 cheaper than Blue+ promise June 2014. Don't fully understand your comment. I put 12000 kwh gas and 3000 kwh elec in and that is what it comes back with. (Yorkshire)0 -
The new EDF Aug tariff is definitely coming in less than the July tariff on uswitch... Of course firstutil is currently a much better deal.0

According to energyhelpline (and using standard results output) the saving is just £98 per year
The £108 saving is from Flow energy
Both Ovo and extra energy could save you £133 p.a. and First Utility could save you £148
Better still, buy your electricty only from First Utility (£400p.a.) and your gas from Zog (£460p.a.) and your saving would be £173 p.a.
I think you definitely made the wrong choice a week or two ago
(irrespective of any new tariff from EDF)0
