Park Inn Nottingham Parking Eye charge notice

Options
Hey everyone, I've just been sent a parking charge notice form parking eye for my one day stay at the Park Inn in Nottingham, and not registering my car. I phoned the hotel, as I know that I wrote the registration on my check in form, but apparently those are not kept, and there is a separate system you need to register on for is hotel (as someone on this forum came across 2 years ago I saw from searching). Anyway, I live in Scotland, and that's where my car is registered, and from reading this forum, the general advice for Scottish residents is to ignore any charges, but as the "offence" occurred in England, I was wondering if that is still the case? Have I also endangered myself by phoning the hotel and talking about the ticket? The woman on the phone sounded in a hurry to get off it by the end!

Thanks for any help!

As you live in Scotland the advice still applies.
I wouldn't worry about the phone call with the receptionist - she's probably just fed up dealing with parking complaints :)

I would complain to Radisson though - as the registered keeper - the driver was a paying a paying customer - the web-site for this hotel offers FREE parking, the registration process should be enough to ensure guests are exempt from charges etc etc

You did register your car when you checked in, if you weren't told about another system how could you possibly know about it.

I would do as ColliesCarer suggests and go to town on Radison, and if they try to fob you off put a real nasty review on trip advisor!
