I thought I'd read somewhere that they had made a similar complaint about signage but the BPA had said a grace period being allowed...might be about something else though - been reading up a lot in case it happens to me next!! thanks for the advice
BPA Ltd and Trading standards have different ideas.
Trading Standards are the ones that matter here.

However a colleague of mine came to work today with a NtK from Sheriff Enforcer Ltd.
He/she only has a short timeframe to appeal as keeper so he/she should just send the usual template from the NEWBIES top sticky thread, asap this week. They could add a point #4 ' At the bottom the ticket states that you are members of the BPA. This is not only wholly misleading - because I find that in fact you became members of the IPC instead, in December 2013 - but further, claiming to be a member of a Trade Association when you are not is a criminal offence. '

Then once they've sent the first appeal off, show us those signs and ask the colleague to Google and read the IPC Code of Practice in readiness to catch the PPC out at IAS stage, if they reject the appeal. Tell the colleague to check out the deadlines in the IPC CoP as they are short - only 21 days to get an appeal in at IAS stage I think and it pretends that they have to know who was driving which can be an issue.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
