I'm looking at buying this music system and wanted to know what others experiences are. One thing I'm worried about it whether our broadband download speed will be compatible if we are using Spotify. It is 5.91mg. As a retired couple, we are a little ignorant about these technical things!
Any useful hints and tips would be most welcome!

Online streaming of music will work to very high quality with 500k, never mind near 6 megs.0

The girlfriend has a Sonos system and it's absolutely fine. Someone I worked with also has one and is very pleased with it, in fact he keeps buying additional units and now has them in most rooms including the shed/workshop.
You won't have any trouble with your download speed. One by one the penguins are slowly stealing my sanity.0 -
Yep, Sonos is very good and the simplest of these type of things to get working. Sonos support is also excellent if you do get stuck.
Just be aware that one Sonos unit must be wired to your router. They sell the Bridge item so you don't need to get a wire to PLAY units0 -

Ah yes. When the girlfriend bought her's it was from John Lewis and they were doing some sort of offer where she got the bridge unit free with the speaker unit. One by one the penguins are slowly stealing my sanity.0 -
We have Sonos too - it's brilliant :-)0

Absolutely phenomenal system, easy to install, use and expand and fantastic sound quality. I started with a Play 5 which covered most of downstairs, added in a couple of Play 1's, then was lucky enough to get a PlayBar at Christmas - simply outstanding.
Support is great too, when I accidentally pulled out the optical socket on the PlayBar (don't ask) Sonos collected and replaced within five days with no quibble.0
