Building Inspector Charges

Hi
We are having a small extension done.
After we got planning permission last year and as per their advice-we contacted them to inform the start of the work.
A building inspector/surveyor came around 2 days later and stayed for 10 mins at the site-he promised to come back after a week.He came back yesterday and talked to the buildersH.e is coming back again next week.
Today I got a bill for £480 from Council towards his visit.
I didn't know there would be a bill for his visit, and was wondering if EACH of his visit would cost me £480?
please advice

No, that will be the final cost included cert, you pay upfront I'm afraid.;);), but you do get 4 or 5 visits plue the paperwork for that so it softens the blow a little at least.
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed
