    Afternoon all,

We've had a busy day today. I've been food shopping, so we are all stocked up again - the cupboards were looking quite bare before.
Then popped over to ASDA to get daughter a new summer dress for school and a pair of daps for PE (I think daps is a westcountry thing, also known as plimsolls!). Also bought a pink washing up bowl for £1.

Daughter has been out to a birthday party and despite being on a sugar high on her return, she is actually starting to tire out now :j.

Very wet at times here, I got soaked through earlier, so no gardening for us today. But husband did get the sledgehammer out to demolish an old retaining wall in the garden - I think he found it very therapeutic :rotfl:

We decided in the end to avoid the sci fi fair. Previous years it's been extremely busy and DS can't cope with really big crowds of people. Very interesting that you used to work with Dave Prowse Hester :)

Instead we dragged kids to retail park. Probably a mistake too as it was heaving but I've finally managed to find a lightweight coat to see me through spring to summer ;)

Was going to do pizza for dinner but running behind as we were out longer than anticipated so will make something quick and easy.

I have a bottle of bud chilling the fridge. I reckon now's about time I cracked it open

Donny.....OHs contribution to the tart was picking, washing and chopping the rhubarb, was happy with that, as would still be cleaning the kitchen if he had done the lot!
