0% Transfer shuffling

Hello,

Sorry if this seems trivial, I'm quite new to all this and don't really know how it works. I'm currently scrimping and saving to pay off my CC debt.

I have 2400 on by barclaycard (up to 10.5k available) with a 0% BT offer on it, but I'm paying interest on the current balance

Recently shuffled 3.4k onto the nationwide 0% BT deal from my barclaycard which has approximately halved the interest I was paying on my barclaycard (Limit is 3.5k so not much wiggle room)

I have a £500 natwest CC with no balance on it and no special deals available

Is there any way I can shuffle funds from my barclaycard onto another card and back onto the barclaycard to use their 0% offer? Or will they be wise to this and not allow transfers off and then onto the card again?

Thanks in advance

If You have another card that You can transfer the balance off
And back again its a good move, I did this recently with virgin then back to Barclays, of course You will pay fees usually 3%, but still cheaper than the intrest.other people will have other better answers I'm sure, but this worked v well for me!
  • Make sure you are only paying the minimum payment on the nationwide card (some would say min plus £1) and chuck all you can at the Barclaycard. You need to look at how long it will take you to pay off the Barclaycard before making a decision, as any shuffle may involve 2 3% fees, so just over 6%. Whereas if the Barclaycard is at a low-ish interest rate, and you'll pay it off in a short time, you would be better off just leaving things as they are.
Unless it is damaged or discontinued - ignore any discount of over 25%
