asda cancelled del due to no del van, cant get funds released

called the bank this morning they seem to have recieved the fax but wont accept it without me giving asda my account number and sort code and asda will not take it as their calls are recorded and it wont be safe. tried calling the store manager where the order was being delivered from and they cant do anything and i cant change the payment card so my friend can lend me the money so im going to have to wait 5ish days to get the money back luckily my friend is going to lend me some money to do an iceland shop so i will have some food monday all going well but never shopping at asda again things being missing and random substitutions was one thing but this is it even when i called the store i had to call 3 times to find a human being.

The store had cancelled the order so it would have needed to be re-picked. The intention was to go the store do the shopping and then be sent on my way home in a taxi.
This is good service from Asda. Mistakes and problems happen, but the customer will remember and tell others how well the company dealt with them
In the dim and distant past in the early days of online shopping, I used to be a manager in a supermarket. We did have occasional mistakes e.g. items not delivered, wrong items etc. I'd always try to get the items to the customer and on a few occasions I did either deliver them in my own car on the way home, or send goods in a taxi. We weren't able to send chilled or frozen goods this way though as we were responsible for maintaining the "cold chain" until they were with the customer and couldn't guarantee how long the journey would take once the goods had left the store.0
