basically, i'd ordered a shop from asda with the last of my money and they had to cancel it because their van broke down and delivery was re organised for today (friday) but my bank account (tsb) shows the amount as pending so when they tried to take money for my re organised order my shopping was cancelled due to no funds in my account. re organised delivery *again* and asda tell me they have so far sent 2 faxes one at just before 5 and another at just before 6 but when i called the bank just before 10pm they hadnt got it even though they claim to check every hour but my biggest problem is i dont get any other money for a week so if i dont get this money back into my account i wont be eating this week as i used up my odds and random fridge bits waiting for sky to refund it from an over payment. i asked tsb my options and was told "we dont get involved" so i really dont know what to do if tsb still cant find the fax in the morning (asda tell me they got confirmation) i have mental health problems and this really isnt helping my stress levels any advice would be very greatly appreciated luckily i stocked up on dog food or i would be properly screwed

This happened to me a few weeks back...
I called my local store where the delivery was coming from and spoke to the Manager, in the end I got my money refunded and a free shop.
They also offered me to come into store and to pay for my taxi from the store with the shopping.
Dont bother with the customer services number there in south africa and they do not have any emotion at all..Im an ex employee RBS GroupHowever Any Opinion Given On MSE Is Strictly My Own0 -

Ring customer services and ask them which store its being delivered from then call the store direct.Im an ex employee RBS GroupHowever Any Opinion Given On MSE Is Strictly My Own0 -

Your welcome when you call the Store though do not press the option for home shopping it will put you through to the contact centre in south africa.Im an ex employee RBS GroupHowever Any Opinion Given On MSE Is Strictly My Own0 -
Hi
I'm sorry to hear about these problems. I don't know if it helps but you can get a food parcel to tide you over till all this is sorted out. You can get a voucher from CAB or your local council or doctors surgery.
If it's an emergency over the weekend you can call your councils out of hours service and they can get one delivered to you.
Good luck x0 -
Don't you have to be a Daily Mail reporter to get one of those?0

If he was prepared to go to that expense, why didn't he just get a taxi to deliver the goods you ordered in the first place?

called the bank this morning they seem to have recieved the fax but wont accept it without me giving asda my account number and sort code and asda will not take it as their calls are recorded and it wont be safe. tried calling the store manager where the order was being delivered from and they cant do anything and i cant change the payment card so my friend can lend me the money so im going to have to wait 5ish days to get the money back luckily my friend is going to lend me some money to do an iceland shop so i will have some food monday all going well but never shopping at asda again things being missing and random substitutions was one thing but this is it even when i called the store i had to call 3 times to find a human being.0

The store had cancelled the order so it would have needed to be re-picked. The intention was to go the store do the shopping and then be sent on my way home in a taxi.Im an ex employee RBS GroupHowever Any Opinion Given On MSE Is Strictly My Own0
